No snow day is complete without a little bit of Frozen. Olaf is my favorite character because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love warm hugs? In order to provide those warm hugs one must learn to dress warm with a flurry of cuteness for the cold weather. As mentioned in my prior post Baby It’s Cold Outside, finding a outfit that is versatile, the perfect combination of warmth and style, is not an easy task. This Patagonia Women’s Re-Tool Snap-T Pullover was one of my Friday’s Favorites. It is as soft as my Olaf stuffed snowman that I sleep with, (no, you are never too old to have stuffed animals)! It is extremely warm and made from Polartec Thermal Pro fleece, but still not as soft as my Olaf stuffed snowman.
Always remember my patented technique of layering! I paired my Patagonia with a striped shirt to add some texture. For some color pop, I decided my new Hunters, North Face hat, and red lip stick would do just the trick. The Hunter Dual Cable Knit Boot Socks matched my Patagonia, kept my feet toasty and dry, as well as added some more texture to my outfit. I am all about purchasing items that have various functions and purposes. Prints and textures were my secret weapons when picking an appropriate winter wardrobe, but the secret’s out.
You cannot play in the snow without the ability to be nimble. Leggings were the perfect choice to allow me chase after my three nephews while dodging the snowballs being thrown at me by my boyfriend. He may have a stronger arm, but my leggings allowed me to be quicker than Sven pulling Kristoff’s sleigh.
Some people may be worth melting for, which I am okay with as long as I am dressed stylish.
